ECO-SUSTAINABLE PACKAGING: SWITCHING TO REGENERATED POLYSTYRENE
Use of regenerated polystyrene to package our products.
Goals:
To reduce the use of virgin polystyrene for product packaging by 95%.
ECO-SUSTAINABLE PACKAGING:
REUSE
Reuse activities of packaging used internally; introduction of ‘returnable packaging’ logic with suppliers.
INVOLVEMENT IN THE RIVENDING PROJECT
Installation of RiVending stations in our headquarters to promote the recycling of plastic cups, stirrers and bottles.
Goals:
To save 6.2 g of CO2 for every cup disposed of via RiVending.

IMPROVING THE ENERGY EFFICIENCY OF INDUSTRIAL MACHINERY
Implementation of tools to monitor the use of power-hungry machinery for a consequential improvement in operational efficiency in order to reduce energy consumption.
Goals:
Monthly savings in machine use: 2800 hours
Monthly savings in kWh: 30 thousand kWh
Annual savings in kWh: 360 thousand kWh
Annual savings in CO2: 241.2 tons.
IMPROVING THE EFFICIENCY OF HEATING, VENTILATION AND ILLUMINATION SYSTEMS
Implementation of a centralised management system for heating, illumination and ventilation systems.

To reduce energy consumption related to illumination.
